Mardi Gras Theme
Mardi Gras also referred to as “Mardi Gras season”, and “Carnival season” is a celebration of events, beginning on or after Epiphany and concluding on the day before Ash Wednesday.
The festival season varies from city to city throughout the world. Some famous cities include; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Barranquilla, Colombia, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Quebec City, Canada; Mazatlán, Sinaloa in Mexico; and New Orleans, Louisiana, United States all celebrate Mardi Gras Day or “Fat Tuesday”. Wherever celebrated the popular practices include wearing masks and costumes and the traditional colors are purple, green and gold.
